INTERNATIONAL DESIGN AWARD
In light of the numerous projects from designers outside of the UK that come to the attention of the Designer magazine team, it seemed only right to give some of these designers the opportunity to submit their finest work to the Designer Awards. Hence, the INTERNATIONAL DESIGN AWARD category.

Entries were received this year from a wide range of countries including the US, Australia, the UAE, Ireland and Turkey, and the scope of some of these projects impressed the judges.
The winner of the 2014 International Design Award is an Australian kitchen and bathroom project by Darren Genner and
Simona Castagna of Minosa, that ticked all the boxes for creativity and bold design.
DESIGNER KITCHEN & BATHROOM AWARDS
Now in its 12th year, the Designer Kitchen & Bathroom Awards is run by UK trade magazine Designer Kitchen & Bathroom. Held at the exclusive Thames riverside pop-up events venue Supernova in London’s Embankment Gardens, this year’s event was hosted by British television and radio presenter Georgie Thompson and attended by 400 of the UK K&B industry’s senior figures.
As well as the International Design Award, the event also included Kitchen/Bathroom Design of the Year categories, New Designer of the Year and a number of product innovation awards.
